Student Reviews

What do former students really think of lessons in the Silver Song Studio? Below are reviews submitted by studio alumni over the years.

"Katie is really nice. Most flute teachers wouldn't have worked with me at my age [student was 7-9 years old]. It was a great experience. I enjoyed talking with Katie and just playing the flute."

"Katie influenced me to continue with music and find a true passion within myself. Katie constantly pushed me to get better while still remaining kind and trusting. I will always look back at my success with flute and remember the fond memories Katie has helped me achieve."

"Katie Baeth helped me grown into the confident musician I am today. Transitioning from only playing in school to having weekly lessons with Katie was smooth and I felt at ease with the process. The highlight of my week was my studio lessons. My family and I began to see a huge improvement in my musicianship, which led to getting top places in Lee's Summit High School's Symphonic Band and Symphonic Orchestra. I am also Katie's first freshman to go to State Music Festival at Mizzou. The music I practiced and played was so enjoyable, and the teaching process was very fun yet professional at the same time. I recommend Katie's studio 100%, it will be an amazing experience for you and your child."

"I really enjoyed playing flute but I still wanted to learn more. My band director gave me a list of teachers and I thought Katie was the best. She gives you certain music that will help you work on certain skills, but she still lets you pick out some pieces on your own. She knows how to motivate you without pushing you too hard. I am really glad I had her for a teacher. She helped me with some difficult audition pieces and thanks to her I was able to get in some great music groups like the Lincoln Youth Symphony. I don't know what I would have done without her."
